In 1969, David Bowie released one of the most important tracks of his career: Space Oddity. This song is about a dialogue between Major Tom and a control tour. The chords alternate between the major and minor phases: they sometimes express the grandiose and spectacular act of the astronaut and, on the contrary, during the minor passage, it’s the expression of an interior monologue.⁣

The movement is also expressed in several ways, but the most explicit indication remains into the famous countdown where its final leads to an interstellar takeoff ...⁣

This 7“ record is a specific David Bowie French pressing - reference Philips 304 201 BF -⁣

In the summer of 1969, the Beatles entered into the recording studio for the last time. Despite the conflicts between the Fab Four, the magic still happens.⁣

Abbey Road is also one of the most popular and iconic vinyl cover in the history of music, and yet John Kosh, the former creative director for the band's label Apple Records, only had two days to make the album cover: he selected one of Iain Macmillan's pictures where the Beatles walk on the pedestrian crossing located just outside the EMI Studios on Abbey Road.⁣

In any case, one thing is certain: 51 years later, the magic is still present.⁣

This record is an English pressing - REF PCS 7088 with the original NEMS Liverpool plastic sleeve and in a very good condition for its age: VG +; VG +.⁣
